Western Star was experiencing increased competition from international rivals. We needed to embed the brand as the butter of choice for future generations of Australians.

THE SOLVE

Celebrating 90 years being made in the original factory in Cobden. A watermarked mail stamp proudly declares its Western District’s home and heritage. A bigger and brighter red star connects to the enduring promise that the butter is great, and the flavour is real.

Today, Western Star retains market leadership, growing from 21% to 29% market share in 6 years.
